ISRO’s PSLV-C56 to Launch Singapore’s DS-SAR Satellite Alongside Six Co-Passenger Satellites
The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has announced its next mission, PSLV-C56, scheduled for liftoff on 30th July at 6:30 AM from the iconic Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota. The primary payload for this mission is Singapore's DS-SAR satellite, weighing 3600 kg and developed by DSTA and ST Engineering. Accompanying the DS-SAR are six co-passenger satellites, each with its unique technology and objectives. Once in orbit, the DS-SAR satellite is poised to provide all-weather, day and night imaging capabilities with exceptional resolution, catering to various requirements of the Government of Singapore and commercial entities alike.
