INS Shalki is a 64.4-meter-long submarine, manned by a crew of 40. It is commanded by Commander Rahul Patnaik.
Visit Activities
During its stay in Colombo, the Sri Lanka Navy personnel will visit INS Shalki to participate in an awareness program about the submarine’s operational features. Additionally, the Commanding Officer of INS Shalki held a meeting with Rear Admiral Chinthaka Kumarasinghe, Commander of the Western Naval Area, at the Western Naval Command Headquarters.
