Akanksha Dubey: Bhojpuri actress Akanksha Dubey has committed suicide at a hotel in Banaras. The actress hanged herself in one of the rooms of Hotel Sarnath. The actress was a resident of Parsipur which comes under the Chauri police station area of Bhadohi district.
A person close to the actress said - "It was her first day on the sets of the new film 'Nayak'. The makers were shooting in Varanasi. Today around 9 am when her makeup boy went to call her at her hotel, she was found dead in the room. She was shooting alongside Aklesh Verma."
On the work front, Akanksha Dubey recently completed the shooting of ‘Mitti’ with Bhojpuri singer-actor Yash Kumar. The movie also stars Raksha Gupta in a pivotal role. It is directed by Chandan Upadhyay and produced by Arvind Prasad and Prem Shanker.

Just before committing suicide, she uploaded a video (reels) on Instagram. The reason of her suicide not clear yet.

Bhojpuri actress Akanksha Dubey was reportedly in Varanasi for the shoot of an upcoming project. Post-filming, the actress headed to the Sarnath Hotel there. She was found dead in her hotel room. Police have started an investigation into the case.
Just hours before Akanksha was found dead in the hotel, she had shared a video of herself where she can be seen flaunting her belly dancing skills on the Bhojpuri song Hilore Mare. The tragic news of her demise came on the day of her music video Ye Aara Kabhi Hara Nahi’s release, where she is paired alongside Pawan Singh. Akanksha was a native of Bhadoi.
