The Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER) organized the North East Sammelan on February 4th, 2024, at Ambedkar International Centre, New Delhi.

Inauguration and Foundation Stone Laying:

  • Chief Guest: Minister for DoNER, Tourism, and Culture, Shri G. Kishan Reddy.
  • Projects Inaugurated:
    1. Inaugurated Barak Hostel at JNU, New Delhi (worth Rs 28.67 crore).
    2. Virtually laid the foundation stone of North Eastern Cultural and Social Institute in Dwarka (costing Rs 116.38 crore).
