ECI recognizes Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) as National Party

  • While ECI has withdrawn the national party status of the Trinamool Congress (TMC) and Communist Party of India (CPI).
  • Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) has received recognition as a state party in Nagaland.
  • Tipra Motha Party got recognition as a state party in Tripura.
