Renewable energy company Greenko has joined hands with IIT-Hyderabad to set up an institution where students will be educated towards sustainable goals like climate change mitigation, circular economy, energy transition among others.
The institute will be India’s first dedicated school for sustainable science and technology, Greenko claimed.
The company said the Greenko School of Sustainable Science and Technology (GSSST) will open towards the end of this year and, by June 2023, will induct first batch students for MTech and Ph.D. in sustainable science and technology, followed by BTech programme.
