The Sherpas, including Verma, will convene a virtual meeting to discuss the agenda and collaborate on finding effective solutions.

The Champions Group, comprising heads of governments/states from Bangladesh, Barbados, Denmark, Germany, Indonesia, and Senegal, focuses on strengthening collective efforts within the United Nations to address urgent global issues. India’s inclusion in this group will enhance the global response to crises, particularly in developing countries.

The Global Crisis Response Group (GCRG), established to tackle interlinked crises in food security, energy, and finance, serves as a platform for coordinating a comprehensive global response. Its primary objective is to mobilize solutions and assist decision-makers in effectively addressing the interconnected challenges faced by the world. With India’s participation, the GCRG will benefit from India’s expertise, resources, and commitment to finding result-oriented strategies to overcome these challenges.
