India Mobile Congress 2023: Promoting Global Digital Innovation

Prepare for the upcoming India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2023, the most prominent digital technologies forum in Asia, which will be held from October 27 to October 30 at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. This seventh edition of IMC is jointly organized by the Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI) and the Department of Telecommunications (DoT). The theme for IMC 2023 is “Global Digital Innovation,” aiming to highlight India’s significant contributions to the global digital revolution. The event will focus on groundbreaking advancements in 5G, 6G broadcasting, satellite technology, semiconductors, drones, devices, and green technologies. IMC 2023 expects a massive turnout of over 100,000 participants, including 5,000 CXO level delegates, along with 350 speakers and 400 exhibitors. To broaden the event’s scope, IMC 2023 plans to include additional industries such as drone technology, power electronics, consumer electronics, AI innovations, deep tech, mobile manufacturing, and cyber security. Furthermore, the involvement of at least 100 universities and the introduction of a dedicated section on consumer-facing cyber security are being considered. IMC 2023 envisions positioning India as a leading technology developer, telecom manufacturer, and exporter, with the event playing a crucial role in achieving this goal. Additionally, there are plans to explore the concept of virtual exhibitions to extend the reach of IMC across various parts of the country.
