India signs agreement with Egypt for content exchange

  • India and Egypt sign an MoU to facilitate content exchange, and Co-Productions between Prasar Bharati and the National Media Authority of Egypt.
  • It was signed by Anurag Singh Thakur (I&B Minister) and Sameh Hassan Shoukry (Minister of Foreign Affairs, Egypt).
  • Aim: To expand the reach of DD India Channel to showcase the country’s progress through programmes.
  • It will be valid for three years and will also facilitate co-productions and training of the officials.
