Lallianzuala Chhangte and Manisha Kalyan were crowned the AIFF Men’s Footballer of the Year and AIFF Women’s Footballer of the Year, respectively, for the 2022-23 season. Lallianzuala Chhangte’s remarkable performances for the Indian national team and Mumbai City FC secured him the prestigious title, while Manisha Kalyan continued to impress and claimed her second consecutive Women’s Footballer of the Year award. The 21-year-old player outshined her competitors to secure her second consecutive Women’s Footballer of the Year award. Known for her speed, technical ability, and goal-scoring prowess, Manisha Kalyan has been an integral part of Apollon, a first division football club in Cyprus.
