Prime Minister Extends Warm Wishes on Pravasi Bharatiya Diwas, Celebrating the Global Indian Diaspora

Pravasi Bharatiya Diwas, celebrated on January 9th each year, commemorates the contributions of the overseas Indian community to the development of India. The day also marks the return of Mahatma Gandhi from South Africa to India in 1915. As part of the celebrations, various events and conferences are organized to strengthen the ties between India and its diaspora and explore avenues for collaboration in various fields.
