Rajay Kumar Sinha has assumed the position of Chief at SBI Capital Markets Limited (SBICAPS), succeeding Amitava Chatterjee. With his diverse experience and expertise in Treasury operations at State Bank of India (SBI), Sinha brings valuable insights and a strong foundation to his new role. His appointment signifies a significant step in enhancing SBICAPS’ investment banking capabilities.

Before assuming the position of Chief at SBICAPS, Sinha held key responsibilities in managing Treasury operations at SBI. His portfolio encompassed various critical aspects, including overseeing the bank’s investment portfolio, money market, equity, private equity, and forex operations. Sinha’s expertise in global markets and comprehensive understanding of banking sectors will be instrumental in driving the growth and success of SBICAPS’ investment banking business.

Having joined SBI as a Probationary Officer in 1991, Sinha has accumulated extensive experience in different areas of banking, including Treasury, International Banking, and Retail Banking. This diverse background equips him with a holistic understanding of the financial landscape, enabling him to navigate the dynamic challenges of the investment banking sector.
