Viktor Axelsen, Akane Yamaguchi clinch BWF World Championships singles title

World number one shuttler Viktor Axelsen won his second BWF World Championships title after beating Thailand’s Kunlavut Vitidsarn in Tokyo yesterday.

The women’s singles title has been retained by Japan’s reigning champion Akane Yamaguchi.
