Discipline-wise Enrollment
- At the undergraduate level, enrollment is highest in Arts (34.2%), followed by Science (14.8%), Commerce (13.3%), and Engineering & Technology (11.8%).
Postgraduate and PhD Enrollment
- Social Science has the highest postgraduate enrollment (21.1%).
- PhD enrollment increased by 81.2%, reaching 2.12 lakh in 2021-22 compared to 1.17 lakh in 2014-15.
Faculty and Teacher Demographics
- The total number of faculty and teachers in 2021-22 is 15.98 lakh, with 56.6% male and 43.4% female.
- Female faculty and teacher numbers increased by 22% since 2014-15.
- The ratio of females per 100 male faculty improved from 75 in 2020-21 to 77 in 2021-22.
