A Japanese space startup launched a spacecraft to the moon after several delays, a step toward what would be a first for the nation and for a private company. ispace Inc's HAKUTO-R mission took off without incident from Cape Canaveral, Florida, after two postponements caused by inspections of its SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket.

Bharti Airtel has partnered with Facebook parent Meta to develop undersea cable infrastructure which will support high-speed internet in the country and boost data-carrying capacities between geographies. The two companies, along with Saudi Telecommunication Company, will bring the world’s longest subsea cable system 2Africa Pearls to India, at Airtel’s landing station in Mumbai.

NASA's Artemis 1 Orion capsule has set a new space flight record for spacecraft designed to carry humans by travelling 401,798 kilometers from Earth. The record was previously held by Apollo 13 which logged the record on April 14, 1970 by travelling 400,171 kilometers.

The country’s first private launchpad and mission control centre has been established within the ISRO campus at Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) in Sriharikota. The launchpad is designed and operated by Chennai-based space-tech startup AgniKul Cosmos.

The Indian Railways plans to introduce ‘tilting trains’ by 2026 with an aim to maintain higher speed on curvy stretches, railways officials said. According to the officials, 100 new units of the semi-high speed Vande Bharat trains are being manufactured using this technology.Around 100 Vande Bharat trains will be equipped with this technology by 2024. These trains with sleeper coaches will be operational by the first quarter of 2024.

India's PSLV C 54 was launched from Sathish Dhawan Space Centre Sriharikota on November 26. About the Earth observation satellite, ISRO Chairman S.Somnath said that specific data from the satellite will be used by the Government departments.

German officials have confirmed to incorporate the world’s first-ever hydrogen-powered passenger train fleet. It will replace 15 diesel trains, which were previously being operated on tracks that lacked electric supply in Lower Saxony, Germany. The fleet comprises 14 trains, which use fuel cells to generate power, making it the cleanest-greenest train fleet ever.

China successfully launched a pilot reusable spacecraft with its Long March-2F carrier rocket, state media CCTV reported.The unidentified spacecraft, which was launched from China's Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, will return to a planned landing site after operating in the orbit for some time to provide technical validations for reuses.

The Indian Space Research Organization will send a small satellite launch vehicle on 07 August from Sriharikota. It is a three-stage vehicle with all solid propulsion stages. The mission is to launch Earth Observation Satellite, EOS-02, and a co-passenger satellite, 'Azaadi SAT', into low earth orbit. The 'Azaadi Satellite' is designed by 750 girl students of government schools in rural areas from Kashmir to Kanyakumari.

South Korea has joined the race to the Moon with the launch of its first lunar orbiter by Elon Musk’s aerospace company SpaceX.Danuri – meaning “enjoy the Moon” – was carried on a Falcon 9 rocket launched from Cape Canaveral in Florida by Elon Musk’s aerospace company SpaceX. It aims to enter the Moon’s orbit in December. 

The United Launch Alliance (ULA) has launched an Atlas V rocket with the sixth and final Space Based Infrared System Geosynchronous Earth Orbit (SBIRS GEO 6) spacecraft for the United States Space Force’s Space Systems Command. The ULA is a joint venture between Lockheed Martin and Boeing.

A Chinese rocket fell back to Earth on 30 July over the Indian Ocean but the NASA said Beijing had not shared the "specific trajectory information" needed to know where possible debris might fall.US Space Command said the Long March 5B rocket re-entered the Indian Ocean on 30 July.NASA Administrator Bill Nelson said that all spacefaring nations should follow established best practices and do their part to share this type of information in advance to allow reliable predictions of potential debris impact risk.
